Position Summary
The Scheduling Associate - Telehealth is responsible for scheduling and rescheduling patient telehealth appointments based on physician and provider schedules and / or schedule changes.
Primary Functions

Functions as the telehealth scheduler and is responsible for all rescheduling, cancelations and confirmations of patient telehealth appointments

Processes all telehealth rescheduling of patients when needed based on physician and provider schedule changes.

Responsible for all telehealth troubleshooting for connectivity issues, e-mail links issues, etc.

Preserves up-to-date patient demographics and insurance information.
-
Cross covers the front office as needed.
Education and Experience
-
High School Diploma or Equivalent
-
Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience within a medical setting

Prior experience with patient scheduling and rescheduling
-
High proficiency with computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records, etc.)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment

Ability to gather and record patient data with high accuracy

Ability to work well with others within a team setting
