Position Summary

The Scheduling Associate  - Telehealth is responsible for scheduling and rescheduling patient telehealth appointments based on physician and provider schedules and / or schedule changes.

Primary Functions
  • Functions as the telehealth scheduler and is responsible for all rescheduling, cancelations and confirmations of patient telehealth appointments

  • Processes all telehealth rescheduling of patients when needed based on physician and provider schedule changes.

  • Responsible for all telehealth troubleshooting for connectivity issues, e-mail links issues, etc.

  • Preserves up-to-date patient demographics and insurance information.

  • Cross covers the front office as needed.

Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • Minimum of one (1) year of previous experience within a medical setting

  • Prior experience with patient scheduling and rescheduling

  • High proficiency with computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, Electronic Medical Records, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize and multi-task within a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to gather and record patient data with high accuracy

  • Ability to work well with others within a team setting
