Purpose

The Team Leader, Front Office is responsible for maintaining a well-organized physician practice by coordinating patient flow and upholding provider schedules, while maintaining focus on the patient. Supervises the scheduling, registration, and greeting of patients in the Oncology Office with complete accountability for the clerical staff.  Implements new approved office procedures that would increase patient flow and satisfaction

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Works independently and collaborative to coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Front Office department, development of short and long-term goals.  Responsible for recruitment and retention initiatives, performance evaluations, performance improvement plans, and disciplinary actions.

Education and/or Experience
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

  • 3 to 5 years of prior experience within a medical office setting

  • 1 to 2 years of prior supervisory experience

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a must

  • Excellent computer skills, written and verbal communication skills
