Hematology and Oncology practice serving outpatients has a full time career opportunity available for a Medical Assistant. Ideal candidate will have medical office experience

Position Summary

Medical Assistants are responsible for directly assisting the practice physicians, maintaining consistent patient flow, triage patient calls, organize diagnostic procedures and arrange follow-up care as directed by the physician.

Education and/or Experience
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant

  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

  • Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of prior experience as a Medical Assistant; prior experience working as an Medical Assistant within a medical practice, highly preferred.



Our successful candidate will have a strong desire to work with patients and their families. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate concern for the health and well-being of others, have superior written and oral communication skills, as well as computer literacy including electronic medical record documentation and the ability to work as a team member.
