Hematology and Oncology practice serving outpatients has a full time career opportunity available for a Licensed Practical Nurse. Ideal candidate will have medical office and IV experience. 

Position Summary

Licensed Practical Nurses are responsible for directly assisting the practice physicians, maintaining consistent patient flow, triage patient calls, organize diagnostic procedures and arrange follow-up care as directed by the physician.

Education and/or Experience
  • Active Practical Nurse license issued by the State of Pennsylvania.

  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

  • Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of prior experience as an LPN; prior experience working as an LPN within a medical practice, highly preferred. Infusion experience, preferred.

Additionally, the candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate concern for the health and well-being of others, have superior written and oral communication skills, as well as computer literacy including electronic medical record documentation and the ability to work as a team member.
