**closed** Hematology and Oncology Associates of NEPA has a full-time opportunity available for a Chemotherapy Prep Technician.  Ideal candidate will be familiar with chemotherapy treatment, familiar with working in a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer care.  The facility is a single specialty group and the largest hematology and oncology practice in Northeastern Pennsylvania.

Position Summary

Hematology and Oncology Associates of NEPA is looking for a Chemotherapy Prep Technician to join our staff. This individual will have a unique opportunity to work in the Chemo Infusion Department alongside our nursing staff, as well as supporting patient care for chemotherapy patients.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High School graduate or equivalent required. 

  • Pharmacy experience, preferred

  • Prior experience with a Lynx pharmacy system or equivalent preferred

  • Excellent organizational and time management with the ability to multi-task and prioritize within a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills a must

  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs unassisted

Additionally, the candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate concern for the health and well-being of others, be computer literate including electronic medical record documentation and the ability to work as a team member.
